A high-level technical delegation from the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates arrived in the Republic of Sudan today, Monday, August 4, on an official visit aimed at discussing issues related to Syrians residing in Sudan, as well as enhancing the bonds of cooperation between the two countries.

According to a statement published by the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its official channel on "Telegram", the delegation held a fruitful working session with the Director of the General Administration of Passports and Immigration in Sudan, Police Major General Osman Mohammed Al-Hassan Dinkawi, in the presence of several senior officials from both sides.

The discussions focused on addressing the problems of the Syrian community in Sudan and ways to regularize their legal status, where the Sudanese side showed "full cooperation" regarding these issues. Both parties also emphasized the "depth of the historical relations that bind the two countries and the two brotherly peoples", committing to joint work to strengthen these ties in all fields.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian delegation received an official welcome upon arrival, as it was greeted by senior officials from the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
