Many people suffer from fatigue and dizziness due to what is known as "spring allergies," which may be attributed to invisible effects on the brain. Pollen allergies are among the most common health issues in spring, manifesting symptoms like sneezing, watery eyes, nasal congestion, and coughing. These symptoms can lead to brain fog, causing mood swings, headaches, and dizziness. Allergy specialist Dr. Mariana Castells from Brigham and Women's Hospital at Harvard University explained that allergies can affect sleep, leading to fatigue and dizziness, making it difficult to concentrate, as reported by "Times of India." When pollen enters the body, the immune system starts releasing chemicals like histamine, affecting tissues and causing allergy symptoms. There are 6 tips to prevent spring allergies: 1- Close windows: The first step is to close windows at home or in the car. 2- Stay indoors: Avoid going out during early morning or late afternoon when pollen levels are high. 3- Change clothes and shower: It's advisable to change clothes and shower after coming home. 4- Use air purifiers: Using air purifiers is effective in reducing pollen levels. 5- Wear sunglasses: Helps protect your eyes from pollen, while a hat can prevent pollen from reaching your hair. 6- Allergy medications: Finally, antihistamines can help alleviate symptoms, but consulting a doctor before using them is recommended.
