As part of the efforts made by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to alleviate the burdens of the suffocating blockade on the Gaza Strip, the Jordanian Armed Forces carried out five new airdrops today, Saturday, to deliver humanitarian and food aid to the Gaza Strip.
The total amount of aid carried by the planes reached 36 tons, with the participation of aircraft from friendly countries, including two planes from the Royal Jordanian Air Force, and one plane each from the UAE, France, and Germany, reflecting extensive international coordination in relief efforts.
The airdrop was conducted in the presence of a group of members from the National Guidance and Media Committee in the Jordanian Parliament, to observe the mechanism of delivering aid on the ground, where committee members praised the professional efforts of the armed forces and the significant humanitarian role led by His Majesty King Abdullah II in supporting the Palestinian people.
