Guterres ist schockiert über den Tod und die Verletzung von Palästinensern bei ihrem Streben nach Hilfe.

In Gaza, all chapters of tragedies and human suffering have come to an end, as harsh images and news emerge showing Gazans risking their lives for a piece of bread or a handful of flour to feed their continuously hungry children since the beginning of the war.
Oftentimes, the flour and food supplies have been mixed with blood. In response to this suffering, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, expressed his shock at reports of Palestinians being killed and injured while seeking aid in Rafah, southern Gaza, yesterday.
In a statement today, Monday, Guterres called for an independent investigation, stating, "It is unacceptable for Palestinians to risk their lives for food."
Through his statement, Guterres demanded an immediate and independent investigation into these events and holding the perpetrators accountable.
