The spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, confirmed that the elevation of the Russian and Ukrainian delegations in potential negotiations to resolve the conflict has not been agreed upon yet, pointing out the necessity of prior coordination between the two parties before any step in this regard.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had previously proposed enhancing the level of the delegations and establishing three working groups to discuss military, humanitarian, and political issues, but Ukraine has not yet responded. In contrast, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he is in talks with Turkey, Europe, and Middle Eastern countries to provide a suitable venue for a potential meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
