Yemen condemns terrorist bombing at Mar Elias Church in Damascus

The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted Mar Elias Church in the Dwelaa area of Damascus, resulting in casualties and injuries.

A statement issued by the Yemeni Foreign Ministry on its website today stated: "The Republic of Yemen, which also faces the repercussions of the terrorism scourge, affirms its support for the Syrian Arab Republic and its people in confronting these criminal acts that contradict all religious and humanitarian values, and calls for concerted efforts to combat terrorism and extremism in all its forms and manifestations."

The statement reiterated the full solidarity of the Republic of Yemen with Syria, expressing condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
