Large Protests in Greece Against the Docking of an Israeli Ship in Volos

The coastal city of Volos in Greece witnessed a massive demonstration today, Wednesday, in protest against the docking of an Israeli cruise ship named "Crown Iris" carrying hundreds of Israeli tourists.
The protests, which began as part of what is known as "Day of Rage" organized by pro-Palestinian groups, spread to about 30 locations across the country, according to the organizers. The demands focused on boycotting Israeli tourists and turning tourist sites into platforms of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Witnesses reported that protesters attempted to obstruct the disembarkation of passengers from the ship, while similar actions were observed at other locations in the Aegean Sea, particularly on the islands of Syros, Rhodes, and Crete.
The Greek authorities arrested several protesters under anti-racism laws amid rising diplomatic tensions between Athens and Tel Aviv, where Israel issued warnings to its citizens regarding travel to Greece.
