The country is witnessing sunny and stable weather over most Syrian territories and the eastern Mediterranean.

According to the satellite image "Terra," snow is clearly visible on the mountains of Lebanon and Syria in the western and northern countryside of Damascus and parts of Al-Suwayda, as well as a noticeable overall improvement in vegetation cover.

Stability will continue over the coming days across all Syrian provinces, with a daily increase in daytime temperatures. Nights will remain generally cold, while mountainous areas above 1300 meters will experience frosty conditions.

Medium-range forecasts indicate a rapid rainy spell for one day on the first day of the upcoming March, with a possibility of snowfall in high-altitude areas.

Regarding relatively long-term forecasts, the country may be affected by several intense cold polar depressions during March, with the first polar depression expected between the 6th and 8th of March.
