Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi revealed today, Sunday, that he was the target of an assassination attempt during the war with Israel, and recounted the details of his last days.
Araghchi, according to the Iranian "Mehr" agency, said that he was targeted in an assassination attempt during the war with a bomb planted in front of his house, without receiving direct communication from Israel.
Araghchi added: "The neighboring house was targeted, and the perpetrators were arrested", pointing out that "drones flew over us several times during our trips to Turkey".
The war between Iran and Israel broke out on June 13th last year and lasted for 12 days before a ceasefire was implemented, which Araghchi said was approved by the Supreme National Security Council with the consent of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
