UNRWA: 360 Employees Have Died in Gaza Since the War Began

Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), announced that the agency has lost 360 of its employees in the Gaza Strip since the outbreak of the war, noting that about 50 other employees have been detained, some of whom faced torture before being released.
Lazzarini confirmed that the agency's employees will continue to fulfill their humanitarian duty despite the harsh conditions they are living in within the sector.
He emphasized that UNRWA will continue its work in Gaza until a fair solution is reached for the suffering of Palestinian refugees, calling for the need to end the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict through diplomatic and peaceful means.
