The local authorities in Sochi, southern Russia, said today, Sunday, that they have extinguished a fire that broke out in oil tanks at a warehouse in the city due to a Ukrainian drone attack.
Benjamin Kondratiev, the local governor, stated earlier today, Sunday, that more than 120 firefighters were deployed to extinguish the fire.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense units destroyed 93 Ukrainian drones last night, including one over the Krasnodar region and 60 over the Black Sea.
The Russian civil aviation authority "Rosaviatsiya" briefly suspended flights at Sochi Airport before resuming them again.
No comment has been issued yet from Ukraine, which has been targeting infrastructure facilities within Russia that Kyiv considers essential to Moscow's war efforts.
