UAE and Pakistan Sign Memorandum to Waive Entry Visa

The UAE and Pakistan have signed a memorandum of understanding on mutual exemption from entry visa for citizens of both countries.
The Emirates News Agency "WAM" reported that the memorandum was signed during the reception of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, and Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, on Wednesday, as part of the twelfth session of the Joint High Committee between the UAE and Pakistan held in Abu Dhabi.
According to the agency, the two parties discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them "in a manner that serves their mutual interests and brings prosperity and development to their peoples," noting that after the meeting, both sides signed the minutes of the twelfth session of the Joint High Committee between the two countries.
The two sides also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint mechanism to enhance UAE investments in strategic sectors in Pakistan, as well as the signing of an agreement on artificial intelligence and digital economy between the two countries.
