Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan emphasized today, Monday, the importance of stability and security in Syria for the international community as a whole.
The Turkish Anadolu Agency quoted Fidan as saying during a press conference today with his British counterpart David Lamy: "Stability and security in Syria will benefit not only the region, but the international community as a whole".
Fidan expressed gratitude to the British Foreign Minister for Britain's decision to lift sanctions on Syria, noting that he and the British minister agreed on a forthcoming visit to Syria.
