Turkey announces new regulations for the entry of Syrians through land crossings

Turkish authorities have issued new instructions regulating the entry and exit of Syrian citizens who hold residence permits in other countries or foreign nationalities through the common border crossings with Syria. The announcement of these regulations was made by the General Authority for Land and Maritime Ports in Syria, which confirmed that the new rules include the crossings of "Sebb - Bab al-Hawa - al-Hamam - al-Salamah - al-Ra'i - Jarablus".
According to the statement published by the authority on "Telegram", Syrians holding residence permits in any country except Turkey, or those who have a second nationality, are allowed to enter Syria in their private vehicles and exit through the same crossing without the need for prior permission. It is also required that adult Syrians holding another nationality present a Syrian passport "even if it is expired" along with the passport of the other country.
As for the children of expatriate Syrians under the age of 18 who hold a foreign nationality without a Syrian passport, they are allowed to enter using only their foreign passport. The new decision also allows the use of private vehicles during transit, provided that the prescribed fees are paid and the allowed duration of stay in Syria is not exceeded.
