Turkey and Syria agree to open all border crossings and establish a "single crossing system."

Turkish Minister of Transport, Abdulkadir Oğlu, announced the decision to activate all border crossings between Turkey and Syria.
This came during a joint press conference with his Syrian counterpart, Yarub Badr.
Oğlu clarified that both sides agreed to establish a joint border crossing operating under a "single crossing" system, aiming to facilitate the movement of transportation and passengers between the two countries.
Discussions also included ways to revitalize land transportation and overcome obstacles that previously hindered border movement.
The Turkish Minister affirmed that the meeting also addressed the reactivation of the railway line between Jarabulus (Cerablus) and Aleppo, as it serves as a vital link connecting Syria to Turkey and then to Europe.
Additionally, the possibility of restoring and expanding the Hejaz railway line towards the south was discussed, as part of enhancing the transportation infrastructure between the two countries.
