Trump's Popularity Wavers After Decline in Latino Support

A recent poll by Reuters/Ipsos dealt another blow to the popularity of U.S. President Donald Trump, showing that his approval rating remains stuck at its lowest levels since his return to the White House, not exceeding 40 percent, at a time when he faces intertwined domestic and foreign challenges.
The poll, which included more than 4,400 Americans and was conducted over six days, revealed that the most significant decline in Trump's electoral base came from voters of Latino descent, with only 32 percent expressing confidence in him, the lowest support rate for him this year, despite them being among the groups that leaned towards him relatively in previous elections.
This comes as the United States experiences a slowdown in the labor market, coinciding with the Trump administration escalating its campaign against immigration, amidst widespread engagement in complex international issues, primarily the war between Russia and Ukraine, which places the president under increasing pressure on both domestic and international levels.
Observers indicate that this decline in Trump's popularity, especially among minorities, could redraw the political map in the upcoming elections and give his opponents a greater opportunity to undermine his chances of maintaining influence within the White House.
