Trump's Deputy: Britain and the United States May Differ on How to Address the Crisis in Gaza

Vance arrived in London with his wife, Osha, and their three children before heading to Chevening.
When asked about Britain's plan to recognize a Palestinian state, Vance replied that the United States and Britain have a common goal of resolving the crisis in the Middle East. He added, "We may differ on how to achieve this goal, and we will discuss that today."
Vance confirmed that America does not intend to recognize a Palestinian state, stating that he does not know what recognition actually means "given that there is no effective government there."
On the other hand, Britain is taking a firmer stance towards Israel. It announced its intention, alongside France and Canada, to recognize a Palestinian state in order to pressure Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
