US President Donald Trump said today, Monday, that the United States will impose extremely high tariffs on Russia within 50 days if they do not reach an agreement to stop the war in Ukraine.

The American President added, "Very unhappy" with Putin over the war in Ukraine.
He continued, "We will impose very tough tariffs if an agreement is not reached within 50 days." He indicated that they are secondary tariffs and will be at a rate of 100%.
Trump also confirmed that he wants to see the war in Ukraine end, expressing his "disappointment" with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The US President added that his country makes the best equipment, the best missiles, and "the best of everything."
He explained that they will send these weapons to NATO, emphasizing that "the alliance will pay for them."
Trump pointed out that the distribution of weapons to Ukraine will be coordinated with NATO. He said, "We will make first-class weapons" and send them to NATO, adding that the alliance will then send them where they are needed.
