Trump Orders Deployment of Two Nuclear Submarines Near Russia Following Medvedev's Statements

He continued: "The statements are very significant and often lead to unintended consequences, and I hope this is not one of those cases."
Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev harshly criticized U.S. President Donald Trump after the latter threatened to accelerate the deadline he set for Russia to reach a ceasefire agreement with Ukraine.
Medvedev said: "Every new ultimatum is a threat and a step toward war. Not between Russia and Ukraine, but with America," adding in a post on the "X" platform that "Russia is not Israel or even Iran," referring to the brief war that broke out between the two countries last March, during which the United States struck Iran in support of Israel.
His remarks came in response to Trump's escalation of rhetoric against Russia amid a lack of progress in stopping the war in Ukraine.
