US President Donald Trump said today, Monday, that he is open to discussions with the European Union and other trading partners before the high tariffs take effect on August 1st, indicating that EU officials are coming to the United States for talks.
He added that they "want to reach a different kind of agreement, and we are always open to having discussions, including with Europe. They are actually coming and want to have talks".
