Trump Angry with Kyiv: Bombing of the "Druzhba" Oil Pipeline Threatens Europe's Supplies

Hungarian Prime Minister's advisor Balázs Orbán revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump informed Viktor Orbán of his deep annoyance with the Ukrainian attacks targeting the "Druzhba" pipeline, which transports Russian oil to Hungary, Slovakia, and several Eastern European countries.
This came in a written message from Trump to the Hungarian Prime Minister, after the pipeline was subjected to a new attack that disrupted supplies for several days, before pumping operations resumed following urgent repairs.
The political advisor attached a scanned copy of the message on his "Facebook" page, where Trump confirmed that these attacks are "unacceptable" and pose a direct threat to European energy security.
For their part, the governments of Hungary and Slovakia sent a joint letter to the European Commission, urging it to pressure Ukraine to stop targeting the infrastructure of the pipeline, warning that continued bombing could make it impossible to secure the oil needs of both countries.
The "Druzhba" pipeline is one of the most important energy arteries in Eastern Europe, as it transports Russian oil through Ukraine to several countries, making it a sensitive focal point amid the escalating tensions between Moscow and Kyiv.
