US President Donald Trump said today, Wednesday, that he is considering sending more Patriot missile batteries to Ukraine to help Kyiv fend off Russian attacks.
After talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump added, "It is extremely difficult to obtain missile defense systems, but we will see if we can provide some."
At a press conference after attending the annual NATO summit, Trump pointed out that Zelensky would prefer to end the war.
Trump confirmed that he will speak to Putin about the matter soon. He added, "Vladimir Putin really should end the war."
