To Support the Reintegration of Displaced and Internally Displaced Persons in Syria.. Italy Provides 7 Million Euros

Stefano Ravagnan, the Charge d'Affaires of the Italian Embassy in Damascus, said today, Sunday, that his country will provide an additional 7 million euros to support initiatives for the reintegration of displaced and internally displaced persons in their original areas in Syria.
In a post on "X", Ravagnan added: "The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to provide an additional contribution of 6 million euros to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and 1 million euros to the International Organization for Migration to support these initiatives, in addition to the funds that were allocated previously."
It is worth noting that Italy announced last March the allocation of 68 million euros to fund humanitarian projects and to rebuild and rehabilitate infrastructure in Syria.
