The Syrian Ministry of Communications and Technology signed a framework agreement today, Monday, in Damascus, with Arthur D. Little "ADL", one of the leading global consulting firms.
According to "SANA", the agreement aims to enhance cooperation in the strategic projects that the ministry is working on, where the company will provide its consulting services in evaluating the bids submitted for the "Silk Link" and "Barq Net" infrastructure projects, in addition to supporting future cellular network development projects in Syria.
"SANA" reported that the Minister of Communications, Abdul Salam Haykal, emphasized the importance of attracting the best global expertise to assist in implementing the major national projects that the ministry is working on, aiming to secure reliable and high-quality internet and communication services for every citizen and institution in Syria as soon as possible.
For his part, the managing partner at Arthur D. Little in the Middle East and India and a member of the company's global board, Thomas Korovila, stated that the cooperation with the Syrian Ministry of Communications reflects the company's confidence in the ambitious vision it leads. He added: "We are pleased to launch this partnership with the ministry in its strategic initiatives, as it aims not only to meet the immediate needs of Syrian citizens but also seeks to achieve a long-term impact at the regional level".
