For the exchange of experiences.. The Minister of Emergency receives the Chargé d'Affaires of the Turkish Embassy in Damascus

The Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management in Syria, Raed Saleh, received today, Monday, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Turkish Embassy in Damascus, Burhan Koroglu.

Saleh said via the "X" platform: "In the framework of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Syria and Turkey in the fields of emergency and disaster management, I received Mr. Burhan Koroglu, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Turkish Embassy in Damascus."

He added: "We discussed prospects for joint work, exchanging experiences, and building capacities in the areas of combating forest fires, seismic monitoring, and mine clearance."

The minister confirmed: "We agreed on the necessity of coordination between (AFAD) and the Syrian Ministry of Emergency to improve disaster response between our two countries."
