The popular "TikTok" application has returned to the Apple and Google stores in the United States, after President Donald Trump's decision to postpone its ban until the 5th of April. With this decision, the application, which has a large following with 170 million American users, can resume its services after a period of suspension.
Trump had promised before taking office to reinstate the application in America, and in commitment to that, he issued an executive order to delay the ban for 75 days, allowing the Chinese company "ByteDance," which owns "TikTok," to temporarily continue its operations within US territory.
It is worth noting that this decision came after a period of tensions between the United States and China, with the American administration's desire to monitor the application and ensure it does not impact US national security.
