US State Department Investigates Eligibility of Harvard University as Sponsor in Visitor Exchange Program

Rubio added: "To maintain the advantage of sponsoring the visitor exchange program, sponsors must comply with all regulations, including implementing their programs in a way that does not undermine the goals of foreign policy or jeopardize US national security interests".
He continued: "The investigation will ensure that the State Department's programs do not conflict with our nation's interests".
Harvard University has become a key focus in the broad US administration campaign aimed at leveraging federal funding to impose changes on American universities that Trump says are dominated by beliefs hostile to Semitism and "extreme leftism".
