United States Suspends Arms Supplies to Ukraine to Enhance Defense of Israel

A recent report cited by The Washington Post revealed that the United States has decided to suspend certain arms shipments to Ukraine, as part of redirecting military resources to enhance the defense of Israel.
The report explained that this decision is a result of "limited military resources", as Washington's global defense commitments "exceed its actual military strength".
The report added that this move has caused discontent among some circles, especially amidst criticisms by U.S. President Donald Trump of his Russian counterpart's policies regarding the Ukrainian war.
The report also noted that Trump's recent decision to strike Iran has surprised many of his supporters, who believe that "interfering in other countries' affairs is inappropriate".
In a related context, the report highlighted the main challenge facing current U.S. foreign policy, which is that "Washington's defense commitments around the world exceed its available military capabilities", forcing American leadership to "seek middle ground solutions" and make tough choices among "competing foreign policy priorities".
