The United States Allocates $130 Million from the 2026 Budget to Support "SDF"

In a statement today, Saturday, the United States reaffirmed its commitment to the permanent defeat of ISIS by supporting reliable partner forces to maintain continuous pressure on the organization. It considers the resurgence of ISIS as a threat to U.S. national interests, as well as to the people of Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and the international community as a whole.
Washington continues to support the Syrian Democratic Forces in northeastern Syria and the Free Syrian Army stationed at the border triangle between Syria, Jordan, and Iraq.
The United States says this support is aimed at combating ISIS, also known as Daesh, and preventing its resurgence.
