UAE Welcomes Ceasefire between Iran and Israel

The United Arab Emirates welcomed the announcement of reaching an agreement to cease fire between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the State of Israel, expressing hope that this development will be a step towards de-escalation and creating a supportive environment for regional stability.
This came in a statement by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, appreciating the diplomatic efforts made by His Excellency Donald Trump, President of the friendly United States of America, and the constructive role played by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the sisterly State of Qatar, in facilitating reaching this agreement. The statement emphasized the importance of continued effective coordination to prevent further escalation and avoid its humanitarian and security repercussions in the region.
The United Arab Emirates also reaffirmed its consistent position calling for the necessity of self-restraint, prioritizing political solutions and dialogue, and avoiding further conflicts in the region that hinder development opportunities and threaten the security of its peoples.
The country renewed its commitment to work with its regional and international partners to establish the foundations of peace, enhance security, stability, and development in the region and the world.
