The Syrian Ministry of Economy launches a commercial information bank system to support the establishment of companies.

Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry for Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Affairs, Engineer Maher Al-Hasan, revealed the ministry's imminent adoption of the new Commercial Information Bank system, which will facilitate the procedures for establishing companies and issuing commercial records, as part of the government's technological update plans.
This came during a speech delivered by Engineer Al-Hasan at the opening of the training course for employees in the companies affiliated with the General Administration, and the Commercial Registry offices in Damascus and its countryside, where he explained that the new program will serve as a shared database linking the Companies Directorate and its branches in the provinces, in addition to other relevant government entities.
He added: "The program includes archiving and automating company data and commercial records, ensuring the protection of traders' rights and enhancing transparency in transactions."
The Deputy Minister also emphasized that the reconstruction of the new Syria requires doubling efforts and developing work mechanisms to keep pace with the current stage, pointing out the importance of updating the General Administration programs for internal trade to align with market requirements, especially after the Arab and international openness to Syria, and the entry of new investments and companies in various sectors.
