The President received a congratulatory message from the Prime Minister of the Emirate of Afghanistan.

The Prime Minister of Afghanistan, Mohammad Hassan Akhund, sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Syrian Interim Government, Ahmed Al-Shar'a. In the message, Prime Minister Akhund congratulated Mr. Al-Shar'a on assuming the presidency of the republic, wishing him success in overcoming challenges and achieving the goals and aspirations of the Syrian people.

Mr. Akhund also expressed hope for strengthening the fraternal relations between Afghanistan and Syria for the benefit of both peoples, concluding his message with prayers for the Syrian people to achieve further prosperity and development.
