The acting Syrian Prime Minister, Ahmed Al-Sharaa, received a congratulatory message from the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

President Erdogan stated in his message: "Dear President, my dear brother, I congratulate Your Excellency on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr with my sincerest feelings. On the occasion of our blessed Eid, which I hope will bring peace and tranquility to the Islamic world and humanity as a whole, I pray to Almighty Allah to strengthen our solidarity and unity."
