The Palestinian Presidency warns of a "serious" Israeli escalation in the West Bank and calls for urgent American intervention

The warning came in an official statement following the Israeli army's incursion into the cities of Ramallah and Hebron, resulting in the injury of dozens of citizens and the arrest of several others, in addition to the destruction of private property and the confiscation of money, according to the official news agency "Wafa."
The presidency affirmed that "these criminal assaults represent an organized act of aggression against the Palestinian people and their land," holding the Israeli government fully responsible for the escalation, which it described as "systematic and aimed at provoking the situation and pushing Palestinians to leave their land."
The presidency called on the U.S. administration to "bear its political and moral responsibilities, and pressure Israel to immediately stop these violations," noting that these practices coincide with what it described as a "war of extermination and starvation" in the Gaza Strip.
The statement emphasized that "the Palestinian people will not migrate and will not concede their land and sanctities," affirming that "security and peace must be for all, or there will be no security for anyone."
The presidency also demanded the international community to "take urgent action to stop the condemned Israeli actions, which threaten further escalation in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and occupied Jerusalem."
According to Palestinian data, the Israeli assaults in the West Bank and East Jerusalem have resulted in the martyrdom of at least 1016 Palestinians and the injury of about 7000 others, in addition to the arrest of more than 18,000 citizens since the start of the war on Gaza 23 months ago.
