The Independent National Commission for Investigation and Fact-Finding in the Syrian Coastal Events issued a statement revealing progress in its work after extending its mission for an additional three months, indicating an intensification of its efforts in the recent period.
The Commission reported that it has conducted ten field visits to the city of Baniyas and its countryside, where it listened to over 300 testimonies from Syrian citizens who have been subjected to violations in the area.
The Commission called on all victims or witnesses who have not been able to provide their testimonies so far to contact them before Thursday, May 1, 2025, confirming that this deadline is the last opportunity for registration.
The statement reiterated the Commission's commitment to continue collecting evidence and listening to victims, as part of its efforts to document violations and seek justice.
