The Assistant Secretary-General for Presidential Affairs, Engineer Ali Kida, and the Minister of Transport, Dr. Yarab Badr, visited today, Sunday, the Ministry of Transport's pavilions at the Exhibition City in Rural Damascus, as part of the preparations for participation in the 62nd session of the Damascus International Fair, which will start on August 27 and continue until September 5, 2025.

The ministry will participate this year with four pavilions representing:
• The General Establishment for Road Transport
• The Hejaz Railway Authority
• The General Establishment for Railways
• A special pavilion for the ministry

The Director of Government Communication, Hussein Al-Haj Abdullah, confirmed that the preparation of the pavilions will be completed before the fair begins, pointing out that the participation will be "distinguished and different from before the liberation," through interactive visual presentations that highlight reconstruction projects and the development of transport infrastructure.

Key Projects on Display:

• Converting roads to international standards
• Connecting railways with Turkey and Jordan
• Rehabilitation and operation of the Hejaz line in Damascus
• Developing the train system to reduce congestion

Abdullah called on Syrians inside and outside the country to contribute to reconstruction efforts and to highlight Syria's image as a safe and developed country.
