The Minister of Interior in the Syrian Interim Government discusses the security situation with the Governor of Aleppo and police officers.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency "SANA," the Minister of Interior, Mr. Ali Kadeh, held a meeting today, 22/02/2025, with the Governor of Aleppo, Engineer Azzam Al-Ghareeb, and a number of senior police officers in the city, to discuss security plans and necessary measures to enhance stability and protect citizens in the province.
The meeting was part of ongoing efforts to improve the security situation in Aleppo, where mechanisms to enhance cooperation between various security entities were discussed, and effective strategies to address security challenges were developed. The Minister of Interior emphasized the importance of concerted efforts to ensure the safety of citizens and the protection of public and private property, stating that safeguarding Aleppo from any security threats is a top priority.
The role of the local community in supporting security efforts was also highlighted, with the Governor emphasizing the need to build trust between citizens and security forces to achieve the desired goals.
The police chief presented a number of proposals to facilitate work related to police departments, immigration, passports, and the challenges they face in order to work on resolving them.
