The discussions focused on the possibility of reopening the Al-Sanamin Military Hospital, which was previously owned by the Ministry of Health, with the aim of expanding the scope of medical services in the city, which is a vital center for 60 towns and villages, and its population constitutes about 40% of the total population of Daraa Governorate.
Urgent Health Demands from the Local Delegation
The delegation requested the provision of several essential medical equipment, most notably:
- A mammogram device for early cancer detection
- An ambulance to serve emergency cases
- An UPS device to ensure stable operation of the MRI machine
Ministry's Plan: Comprehensive Services Despite Challenges
For his part, Minister Al-Ali confirmed that the ministry seeks to provide comprehensive and sustainable health services despite the challenges, noting that the city of Al-Sanamin will be among the priorities of future health plans due to its geographical and population significance.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Minister of Health, Hussein Al-Khatib, along with several directors and officials in the ministry, as part of the follow-up on the implementation of health plans and the identification of actual needs in high population density areas.
