The Minister of Energy discusses with the Charge d'Affaires of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Damascus ways of cooperation in the field of energy.

Minister of Energy of Syria, Mohammad al-Bashir, met today Thursday in Damascus with the Charge d'Affaires of the Azerbaijani Embassy, Alnur Shah Husseinov, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy. The Ministry of Energy, through its Telegram channel, mentioned that the meeting addressed ways to develop economic relations in the fields of electricity and renewable energy, as well as exchanging technical expertise and studying opportunities for joint investment. The Ministry added that Minister al-Bashir confirmed Syria's readiness to provide facilitations for Azerbaijani projects, while Husseinov expressed his country's desire to expand cooperation, pointing out the great potential both countries have in this sector.
