Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati, announced his intention to make an official visit to the Syrian capital, Damascus, in the near future. During the visit, he is scheduled to meet with the head of the Syrian transitional government, Ahmed Al-Shar'a, along with a delegation comprising high-level officials from various ministries and security sectors. Mikati emphasized the importance of joint coordination in security, political, and economic fields to enhance common interests.
