The Kremlin denied yesterday, Tuesday, the accusations made by Keith Kellogg, the special envoy of US President Donald Trump to Ukraine, regarding Russia's procrastination in peace talks with Kyiv.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Moscow has fulfilled all agreements reached during the negotiations so far, and that Russia is not obstructing the progress of the talks in any way.
Peskov said in a statement: "No one is obstructing anything here," noting that Russia is grateful to Trump's team for helping facilitate the talks.
He added that Moscow supports achieving its goals through political and diplomatic means alongside the special military operation, and does not want to prolong the conflict.
Peskov emphasized the need to set a date for the third round of talks between the two sides, while Kellogg had earlier stated that Russia is stalling to gain time and launch more attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine.
These statements come amid the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian conflict and escalating tensions over the future of peace talks between the two parties.
