The Kremlin said that Russian President Vladimir Putin informed his American counterpart Donald Trump in a phone call today, Thursday, that Moscow will not back down from its goals in Ukraine, but remains interested in resolving the conflict through negotiations.
Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters that Trump raised the issue of ending the war quickly during a conversation that covered many topics.
