The killer "Al-Farooq Abu Bakr" surrenders to judicial authorities in Aleppo

Mohammad Abbas, known as, surrendered today, Monday, to the judicial authorities in Aleppo Governorate after confessing to the assassination of the former leader of the Syrian National Army, Alaa Al-Din Ayoub, nicknamed "Al-Farooq Abu Bakr" in the city of Azaz in the countryside of Aleppo.

The official news agency "SANA" quoted the spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, Nour Al-Din Al-Baba, as saying: "Thanks to God and after significant efforts by the internal security leadership in Aleppo Governorate to identify the perpetrators of the assassination of Al-Farooq Abu Bakr, the perpetrator surrendered and confessed to the crime."

Al-Baba confirmed that initial information indicates a criminal act "motivated by revenge".
