The Jordanian King Confirms His Country's Support for Efforts to Maintain the Security and Stability of Syria

The Jordanian King Abdullah II reaffirmed today, Tuesday, that the security and stability of Syria is a shared priority, pointing to the Hashemite Kingdom's support for the efforts of Syrians to maintain the stability of their country, its sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens.

During his meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam in Amman, King Abdullah expressed Jordan's full support for Lebanon in enhancing its security and maintaining its sovereignty, emphasizing the need to expand cooperation between Jordan and Lebanon in various fields, especially economic. This was reported by the Jordanian news agency "Petra".

The Jordanian king also condemned Israel's plans to expand its influence in the West Bank and the region.
