Israeli Army Considers Unprecedented Military Operation in Gaza with Wide Evacuation Warnings

Amidst the deadlock in prisoner exchange negotiations, the Israeli army is preparing for a major and unprecedented military operation in the Gaza Strip, involving the mobilization of five complete military units, not partially as in previous times, according to the Israeli site "Walla".
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is holding a decisive meeting today, Sunday, June 29, with top security leaders to discuss military and diplomatic options, where two main options are being considered: either reaching a deal with Hamas to release prisoners, or launching a large-scale ground operation.
Israeli military sources reported that the army is considering carrying out one of the largest Palestinian evacuations since the start of the war, in preparation for a new military operation. The plan includes evacuating wide areas in the north, central, and south of Gaza, where the army issued an official warning today, calling on residents to leave multiple neighborhoods in Gaza City and Jabalia, including the eastern Zaytoun, the Old Town, Turkman, and others.
Opinions within the Israeli security establishment are conflicting, as some leaders believe that current military achievements are sufficient, while others insist that expanding ground operations is necessary to "break the political and military leadership of Hamas". However, there are warnings of significant military losses due to fighting in populated and tunnel-filled areas.
Sources revealed that the proposed scenario requires a wide mobilization of reserve forces, with the deployment of five complete military units to support the operation, in a step that reflects the intention of military escalation.
At the same time, negotiations on the prisoner deal face major obstacles, as Israeli officials have confirmed that "the gaps with Hamas are still significant", according to the "Axios" site. In a related context, U.S. President Donald Trump called through the "Truth Social" platform for "reaching a deal on Gaza and releasing detainees".
It is worth mentioning that Israel resumed its military operations in Gaza after the collapse of the ceasefire last March, while maintaining the strict blockade on humanitarian aid and vowing to remain in the newly captured areas.
