The Israeli army announced today, Monday, the discovery and destruction of the central command headquarters of the former Syrian regime on Mount Hermon.

In a post by Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee on the "X" platform: "The discovery and destruction of the central command headquarters of the former Syrian regime on Mount Hermon, scenes from the activities of the 810th Mountain Brigade in the Syrian region."

He added: "The 810th Mountain Brigade forces under the command of Division 210 continue to operate in southern Syria. During the past week, the brigade forces, including paratroopers and Yahalom unit, completed a raid operation targeting the central command headquarters of the unit responsible for the Mount Hermon area in the deposed Syrian regime."

He continued: "During the operation, the forces found military infrastructure belonging to the former regime, including weapon depots, combat equipment, such as cannons, launch platforms, mortar shells, rockets, explosive devices, and mines. All equipment was confiscated or destroyed."
