International Coalition Carries Out Airdrop Operation in Deir ez-Zor and Arrests a Person

The international coalition forces carried out an airdrop operation in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor last night and arrested a person.

Syria TV reported that the coalition forces carried out the operation in the town of Abu al-Naitel, north of Deir ez-Zor, coinciding with intensive helicopter flights along the riverbank.

Local sources mentioned that the operation targeted a house inhabited by a person named Hassan Muhsin Al-Olyawi, explaining that he was arrested and weapons and ammunition were found in his possession.

According to the local site "North Press", Al-Olyawi was a former leader in the ISIS organization and operated under the name "Abu Hassan Al-Bukayri".
