The International Atomic Energy Agency confirms its support for Syria in peaceful areas.

Syrian Foreign Minister, Mr. Asaad al-Shibani, met with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, on the sidelines of the United Nations meetings in New York.

Grossi expressed the agency's commitment to supporting Syria in peaceful areas, through a post on his official "X" platform account.

Grossi stated in his post: "I had an important meeting with Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shibani in New York, and I welcome communication to clarify previous activities in Syria."

Grossi added: "The International Atomic Energy Agency is committed to supporting the country in medicine, agriculture, and other peaceful applications in this new era," confirming the continuation of cooperation between the two sides in these vital areas.
