The Internal Security finds a well filled with mines in the countryside of Homs

The Internal Security Directorate in the area of Al-Mukharram Al-Fawqani in Homs Governorate found today, Sunday, a well containing a large quantity of individual and anti-vehicle mines, which were hidden inside bags, as part of ongoing efforts to protect civilians and secure areas from security risks.

The Syrian Ministry of Interior stated through its official channel on Telegram that the relevant authorities urge citizens to immediately report any suspicious object or explosive materials, in order to maintain public safety.

In a related context, the internal security forces in eastern Homs seized on August 19 a vehicle loaded with Grad missiles, shells, and various ammunition, which were prepared for smuggling, in a qualitative operation that reflects the security vigilance in facing threats.
