GCC Affirms Support for Syria in Confronting Latakia Fires

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, affirmed the Council's standing by Syria and its sisterly people in the aftermath of the forest fires that swept through Latakia Governorate, causing damage and losses.
Al-Hajraf, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), also expressed his sincere solidarity and condolences to the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, hoping to overcome this ordeal and difficult humanitarian situation, wishing safety for the citizens and a speedy recovery for the injured.
